Antique Gilt Vesta Match Case Holder Early 1900's

This is an antique silver gilt vesta match box case decorated with beautiful geometrical cloisonne enamel design in blue and red.  It has a hinged top lid.  All original and generally in very good condition. Slight signs of wear and enamel loss commensurate with age and use.

This is our best estimate based on research that it was from around 1900 but is not marked.  We also believe this could be a Russian Match Case.

A lovely vesta from a past era...extremely collectible!
