Nostalgic Screwdriver for the Avid Tool Collector
An antique Gentleman's Fancy Turnscrew or flat-blade screwdriver with a wood handle from the 1920s is offered here. This is a large, chunky flathead screwdriver with a hardwood handle, a brass collet, and a 3/8" tip. It has experienced a lot of use in the past years.
The handle is likely beechwood, although it is difficult to tell because of its age. The collet is brass and of good thickness. It is firmly fixed to the handle, and there appears to be no movement.
There is some discoloration and pitting, although it is not enough to give rise to any issues.
If it is taken care of, this tool will have years of use left in it, but it will always have that historical look to it as a well-used, practical tool.
Measurement approx.:
- Length 14.5"
- Handle width 1.5"
- Weight 9.5 oz
